I really wish I could be a good person and pretend I'm totally not overcome with vicious jealousy and say I genuinely like Alexa Chung, but I'm not a very good liar. She just annoys me. Like... a rock in your shoe. She plagues my Alex-stalking, damnit.

In other news: Nice bush, Alex. It looks like a bird's nest. When does Nick "The Bird" Valensi move in with his chicks? (Oh there I go lying again. His hair is hot. Stfu long-hair Alex haters. You're just jealous you can't grow wonderful curls like that.)

The video for Arctic Monkeys new single, 'Cornerstone' will be shown in a TV exclusive on Channel 4 at 11.55pm on Thursday 15th October 2009.

Really? Cornerstone?! I mean, it's a good song, but for some reason every time it comes on my gag reflex reacts to that opening yada yada. It's like... cheesy almost. But then as the song goes on it redeems itself.
However I still don't find it single-worthy.
When I think of singles, they have to be catchy. Grab your interest and keep it for the short three minutes that are: singles. Not this winding and somewhat droning song. Something actually attention-catching like Pretty Visitors or Dangerous Animals would have been so much better.
Still curious for the video though.
